Taylor will be 13 this week December 12th and yesterday she got one of her presents. Check it out www.taylorferns.com

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Today we had a full house. I cooked for my family this year and that was a count of 45 people. We had a great time my 95 year old grandma was here also and my Aunt and Uncle were in from Colorado it was very nice to see them. We will be setting up our tree this weekend and Jim and Don are getting the dirt cars ready for the Twas the night before Midget race in Kansas City in a couple weeks. Grandpa Jim is working on some new sponsors, and we are just getting ready for the holiday season. Taylors website will be up shortly keep checking for it www.taylorferns.com

Today is my little man's Birthday!! Happy Birthday Jimmy born 11/13/2000 at 8:46 pm. He will get his favorite birthday cake. Banana cake!!!!

We got up early and headed to Indianapolis for the 2008 USAC Banquet. Very nice banquet food was good company was good and awards where really nice. Taylor got a very nice surprise she received ROOKIE OF THE YEAR HONORS along with Mike Terry Jr. Congratulations to you both. We were really excited and proud of her for all her accomplishments. Afterwards we headed to the bowling alley with the Hamilton family and Mr. Hargitt. We had alot of fun bowling. Headed home Sunday morning.
Stay tuned for more racing info. Taylor and Jim will be leaving on Thankgiving morning for Pennsylvania. They have a dirt race that weekend. Check back in then for some updates.

We got as far as Ft. Wayne and had to turn around and head home. The races for today were cancelled. So we will get the cars ready for the remaining races that we have .Nov 1 st @ camden also Jim and Taylor are traveling to Harrisburg,Pa for a non wing race with twenty other Concept Chassis people at Thanksgiving than there off to Kansas City to race a wing race along with Caleb& Neil Armstrong and of course Fuzz to help wrench . Caleb will be in the 7 car also the 55 drc midget to get ready for the shoot out and Chili Bowl and that's December 18th than my brother Donnie has to drive all the way back drop cars off and pick up cars than drive to Tulsa for the Shoot out . Than Jim and Taylor will be off to the Chili Bowl the following week again back to Tulsa sounds like a lot of flying around next couple of months .And who said it supposed to slow down over the winter geez.Stay tuned I over heard a rumor we have another new car coming soon for Taylor but I'm always the last to know !!
